Due to the extreme saturation and additional rain in the upcoming forecast, the city of Burlington has closed some of its sports fields.

Due to the extreme saturation and additional rain in the upcoming forecast, the city of Burlington has closed some of its sports fields.

All grass multi-use fields and ball diamonds are closed.

This closure will remain in effect until May 10, 2019.

Fields and diamonds will be assessed on Friday in order to make a decision regarding weekend play.

Artificial turf fields are still open.
