The City of Burlington has reinstated the five-hour parking limit.

In addition to the regular safety-related issues, parking enforcement has now resumed for those who are illegally parked on the neighbourhood streets past the five-hour limit.

Residents can apply for a parking permit or request a parking exemption by going to burlington.ca/en/services-for-you/Parking-Exemptions.asp.

Parking exemptions, which are not valid on pay streets, are not in effect during snow clearing or road maintenance, including the City’s annual leaf collection program in November and December.

If you have been given a parking ticket for exceeding the five-hour limit for parking overnight after you have requested an exemption, call Parking Services at 905-335-7600 on Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
