Burlington man one of four charged in armed robbery of Centre Wellington Township home

A Burlington man is one of four people charged in an armed robbery investigation of a home in Centre Wellington Township.
Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police received a call at 5 a.m. on Saturday and responded to a report of an armed robbery on Sideroad 15 near Wellington Road 19 in Centre Wellington Township.
Three suspects, it was reported, had entered the residence and armed with a handgun confronted the occupants. The suspects would steal household items, including electronics.
No injuries to the victims were reported.
Also assisting with the investigation were members of the Wellington County Crime Unit, Community Street Crime Unit and the Forensic Identification Unit.
The four suspects were arrested later the same day in a vehicle near the Town of Stayner with assistance from the Collingwood OPP, the Canine Unit and Tactical and Rescue Unit, and the OPP Emergency Response Team.

Search warrants were executed by police and resulted in the recovery of stolen property and a weapon.
All four suspects were charged and held for a bail hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph.
Jayden Brown, 22, from Burlington has been charged with robbery with a weapon, point firearm, disguise with intent and fail to comply with undertaking.
A 16-year-old youth from Fergus was also charged with two counts of robbery with a weapon, three counts of point firearm, uttering threats to cause bodily harm or death and failure to comply with undertaking.
Jaymar Gayle, 37, from Mississauga and Christopher Stewart, 40, from Barrie have both been charged with possession of property obtained by crimes.
