Burlington man arrested in connection with thefts from vehicles near Oakville and Milton construction sites

A Burlington man has been charged by Halton Regional Police for breaking into vehicles near Oakville and Milton construction sites.

The 2 District Street Crime Unit reports, between May 21 and June 16 of this year, a total of eight vehicles close to construction sites in Oakville and Milton were entered while the owners of vehicles were working.

Various items were stolen, including credit cards and cash.

Lance Zambosco, 46, of Burlington was arrested Friday and has been charged with the following:

  • Theft Under $5000 (8 counts)
  • Fraudulent Use of Credit Cards (4 counts)
  • Fail to Comply with Probation (6 counts)
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
  • Dangerous Drive

 Zambosco is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.

HRP want to remind residents to help prevent becoming a victim to these types of crimes, ensure your vehicle doors are always locked, always roll up your windows and remove all valuables from your vehicle
