Although Burlington has been aware of homegrown sound engineer Charles Moniz for quite some time, the world is finally starting to take notice in a big way.

At last night’s 60th Annual Grammy Awards, he won four trophies for his work on Bruno Mars’ album 24K Magic.
Categories include album of the year, record of the year, and best engineered album in a non-classical category.

Moniz is no rookie to gold statues.

He’s already won in 2017 for his work on Adele’s 25 album, as well as Mark Ronson and Mars’ 2016 smash Uptown Funk.

Moniz spent the day receiving props from his hometown peeps.

If you missed it, here’s a quick look.
