A Burlington business that was featured on Dragon’s Den, recently launched an equity crowdfunding campaign to help businesses raise the capital they need to grow while designing the future of the tattoo industry.
Custom Tattoo Design, a company that specializes in unique tattoo designs, is currently offering Canadian investors a chance to be a part of the company’s expected growth through the launch of their equity crowdfunding campaign on the platform, FrontFundr.
Canadian investors who are interested in this opportunity can now own shares in Custom Tattoo Design by investing as little as $500 through the FrontFundr platform.
Custom Tattoo Design was featured on season eight of the reality television show, Dragon’s Den, where their idea for web-based custom tattoos was presented to the panel of venture capitalists in hopes of securing an investment.
“We’ve spent the past three years perfecting our business model, to ensure we deliver high quality, custom pieces of artwork to our customers, whether that’s the individual looking to memorialize a part of their history with a tattoo, or the AAA game studio who wants more realistic looking tattoos in their game,” said Lee Roller, Founder and CEO of Custom Tattoo Design.
“Now, we’ve identified additional places where our top-of-the-line design skills and our technological advantages meet and we’re poised to be the next Canadian success story.”
The company’s growth plans for the business include launching Tattoo Connect, an app that helps connect people looking for tattoos with local artists who are looking for clients.
Additionally, Custom Tattoo Design has identified a target market in the digital ads space and has allotted an additional $150,000 of increased spending.
They also plan on expanding business design services to more customers with an improved back-end customer experience and personalized account services.
