A pair of road closures are in effect in Burlington this weekend for construction.
The reason for the construction is the asphalt—it needs to be removed and replaced.

The reason for the construction is the asphalt—it needs to be removed and replaced.
Work is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. on August 29 and should be completed by 6 a.m. on August 31.

During this time, Appleby Line will be closed from Spruce Avenue to Longmoor Drive and Pinedale Avenue, while New Street will be closed from Longmoor Drive to Timber Lane.
Additionally, vehicle and pedestrian access to and from businesses and residences will be maintained.
