Worker in William Osler Health System succumbs to COVID-19

A worker in the William Osler Health System has died as a result of COVID-19

The hospital system confirmed the information today saying the male employee worked at Etobicoke General and died on January 14.

Brampton Civic Hospital is part of the William Osler Health System.

The hospital could not confirm what kind of work the employee did or if he was part of the medical staff.

“We are heartbroken by the news and share our deepest condolences with his family,” the hospital said in a released statement. “Our thoughts are with them during this time.”
