Boomerang kids aside, 2011 Census data shows the median age in Brampton is 34.7, while the average gross family income is $93,817.

But what exactly does one need to earn annually to be able to buy a home here? What types of jobs do Brampton residents hold?

For those banking more than six-figures apiece, luxury homes were going for an average price of $1.3 million, with 33 homes selling for more than a million last month in Brampton.
