The city of Brampton is inviting residents and visitors to participate in Black History Month festivities next month, which are meant to honour the legacy of Black Canadians, from both the past and the present.

The City of Brampton is currently inviting enthusiastic entrepreneurs and food and retail vendors to submit applications to participate in this year’s Black History Month celebrations.

These celebrations will include The Beat of Black History Month Presentation, which will take place on Feb 28. at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall Atrium as well as a Black Marketplace which will take place from noon to 8:00 p.m. at City Hall Conservatory.

The deadline to submit an application is Thursday, January 30, 2020 at 4:30 p.m.
