UPDATE: Police searching for 16-year-old Brampton girl last seen in August

Police are appealing to the public for help in locating a missing 16-year-old girl from Brampton who was last seen in August 2020.
Police are appealing to the public for help in locating a missing 16-year-old girl from Brampton who was last seen in August 2020.
Peel police say that Khaliya Mcleod-Sutherland was last seen at 9:30 pm on Aug. 11, 2020, in the Hurontario Street and Boviard Drive area.
Police say she initially maintained some contact with friends and family through social media but has since stopped.
Police say Mcleod-Sutherland is described as a black female who is 5’2” and 120 lbs. She has a medium build, curly black hair and brown eyes.
Police and family are concerned for her well-being.

UPDATE: Investigators from 22 Division Criminal Investigative Bureau have located the missing 16-year-old female from the City of Brampton. Mcleod-Sutherland was located in good health on September 15, 2020.
