The city is reporting that two more Brampton Transit operators have recently tested positive for COVID-19.

The first operator worked on routes 4 Chinguacousy and 29 Williams Parkway, while the second worked on routes 11 Steeles, 53 Ray Lawson and 57 Charolais.

The operators last worked on October 30 and October 27, respectively.

The city says Public Health agencies have been notified.

Anyone who travelled on the affected routes and is feeling well (with no symptoms) is advised to go about their daily routines and not call Public Health.

Those who develop symptoms are asked to call Public Health, or 911 if they require emergency medical assistance.

When a transit operator tests positive for the virus, the city says its priority is providing support to the individual and their family, and continuing to help protect the health and safety of its employees, customers and community.

Public Health reaches out to employees who have been in close contact with the affected operators.
