Two Brampton grocery store employees recently tested positive for COVID-19.

According to Loblaw Companies’ website, which has been tracking cases of COVID-19 in their stores across the province, two employees at two separate grocery stores in Brampton tested positive for the virus.

One employee works at Fortinos, located at 35 Worthington Ave. and the other employee works at Qais’ NOFRILLS, located at 9920 Airport Road.

“Given the important role we play in our communities, we are prepared for all possible situations, including a positive test for COVID-19 in our stores,” said their website.

“In these cases, we work closely with public health and follow their guidance to ensure proper notification of close contacts and required cleaning and sanitization in our stores.”

The website reported this case on October 11 and states that the employees’ last day of work was October 3.
