Two attempted murder arrests made in relation to Brampton hit-and-run

Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau and the Major Collision Bureau have arrested two people in relation to three pedestrians that were struck in Brampton. 

Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau and the Major Collision Bureau have arrested two people in relation to three pedestrians that were struck in Brampton. 

On October 26, 2019, police received a call at 6:15 p.m. in regard to a report of a white SUV that had struck three pedestrians on the sidewalk around Elgin Drive and Mclaughlin Road.

The vehicle, which was a white Honda Pilot SUV then fled the area heading northbound on Mclaughlin Rd.

The three male victims were all from the Brampton area.

A 17-year-old and 18-year-old received non-life threatening injuries, while the third victim, a 17-year-old, was transported to a trauma center and remains in stable condition.   

Two males, an 18-year-old from Brampton and a young person, were arrested on November 3, 2019, in Brampton, in relation to this incident. 

The people arrested were charged with attempted murder and assault and fail to remain.

They were both held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

Police are continuing to investigate and are asking for public assistance in checking home security surveillance and dashcam footage for a white Honda Pilot SUV from October 26, 2019, between 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
