Top 5 Patios in Brampton

Patio season is basically the season between spring and snow where we take long lunches to lounge in cozy outdoor seating areas at restaurants, rush out of work on Fridays for drink specials in the early evening sun, and have brunch at noon outside on weekends.
“Can we sit on the patio?” is the hopeful utterance of most restaurant-goers during patio season.
There are a bunch of patios ready for you lounge on in Brampton, complete with great service, scenery, comfortable seating, and drink specials, but there are a select few that we’ve highlighted as the top five patios in Brampton this patio season.
Nested into a plaza at Financial and Steeles, the Crown and Lion has pub fare, drink specials, and cozy seating. With live music some weekend nights, dart tournaments, and the occasional paint night, the Crown is your go-to casual patio spot this season. Their patio is surrounded by flowerbeds, and though the view is just of Steeles and the rest of the plaza, it is an eventful spot to be in – you can spend all day on their patio and all night at their events. Their patio also catches the sun well and is surrounded by transparent walls, which gives it an open but quaint vibe.

Iggy’s is the restaurant at Lionhead Golf and Conference Centre, located at Mississauga Road and Financial Drive, and whether or not you play golf, you can still eat there and hang out on their comfortable patio. Their patio is so lovely that they had to include “patio” in their restaurant name! The patio at Iggy’s is half covered and half not covered, and the covered section has the option of tables or cozy couches for seating. I actually sat in the covered section while it was raining – it was gorgeous, I didn’t get rained on, and I still got to be outside. The patio also overlooks a small section of their golf course, which gives it a pretty and quaint vibe. Iggy’s is a little hard to find though – when you get to the golf club, the best way to find it is by walking around to the back of the building!

The Works also has a great casual patio – this time, with a view. Located at Queen and Main right beside Starbucks, The Works’s patio overlooks Garden Square in downtown Brampton. You can gaze at the big screen, enjoy events in the square, and be out in the open sun on this airy patio, all from the comfort of your seat, preferably with a burger and/or a cold brew in front of you. If you’re looking for a busy spot with a lively crowd nearby, The Works’s patio is the place to be.
Carve on Lot 5 boasts the only rooftop patio in Brampton! Located at Queen and Main opposite Garden Square on the topmost level of the restaurant and overlooking George Street, Carve on Lot 5’s rooftop patio is the Brampton patio you’ll need to lounge on this summer. The patio offers an unobstructed view of historical landmarks in Brampton, a rustic vibe, and a great, tall vantage point to soak up some sun. The best part? There’s a bar on the patio for easy access to your favourite cold alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks to sip on during your summery lounge-fest on the roof.
Another golf club patio, NINE18 is the restaurant at Turnberry Golf Club, located at Bovaird and Southlake across the street from Lowe’s. NINE18’s patio boasts an incredible view of their golf course and the houses and skyline beyond. Moreover, their patio is the largest on this list, and I might even go so far as to say it’s the largest in Brampton. There is plenty of space for large or small groups, and you can get cozy in their sheltered area or be in the open area to absorb as much Vitamin D as possible. There’s usually a good buzz of conversation happening, which makes this patio good for brunch, a casual drink, or evening appetizers, with scenic greenspace to boot. You will be surprised that a space like this exists in Brampton, and fair warning, their patio may become your new favourite summer hangout spot!
