Three new COVID-19 cases reported at Brampton grocery store – January 3

Loblaw is reporting several new COVID-19 cases at one of its store locations in Brampton.

The cases were confirmed on Sunday, January 3 at Real Canadian Superstore, located at 85 Steeles Avenue West.

Three employees tested positive on a presumptive test for COVID-19. One employee last worked on December 22, while the other two last worked on December 29.

“Given the important role we play in our communities, we are prepared for all possible situations, including a positive test for COVID-19 in our stores,” the company says.

“In these cases, we work closely with public health and follow their guidance to ensure proper notification of close contacts and required cleaning and sanitization in our stores.”
