The Brampton Farmer’s Market opens tomorrow (June 15) and it’s looking to the biggest one yet!

The market’s opening celebrations will feature live entertainment, gardening tips from special guest Frankie Flowers, family-friendly activities, fresh produce and more.

This year, the market will also feature new special events, activities, and over 70 vendors throughout the course of the season.

Highlights include an Artists’ Marketplace with arts, crafts and handmade items for sale. Attendees can also enjoy At the Market programming every week in Garden Square from 10 am to 12 pm, with feature demonstrations about everything from cooking, to gardening, to live entertainment.

Brampton Farmers’ Market Opening Day will also be holding two special events:

“From mornings at the Brampton Farmers’ Market to evenings at the Mount Pleasant Village Night Market, Brampton offers an outdoor market experience like no other,” said Mayor Patrick Brown. “I’m pleased to welcome Brampton’s markets back for yet another exciting season. I know my wife and I love visiting the Farmers’ Market every Saturday, and I encourage everyone to come out and discover them this year. Grab a bite from a market vendor, head to Garden Square for live entertainment, and enjoy the sights and sounds!”

The Brampton Farmers’ Market will run on Saturdays from 7 am to 1 pm, until October 12, 2019.

Residents can also visit the Mount Pleasant Village Night Market, starting June 20.

Garden Square programming is funded by the Government of Ontario.
