I love me some fresh juice (and other healthy but tasty concoctions), and it’s obviously great to learn a popular and delicious Brampton-based option is expanding with another location in Mississauga.

And it’s not even close to Malton.

Trish Juice is opening in the city’s south end in Port Credit (just west of the lighthouse) along the north side of Lakeshore Rd. W.

You’ll find it at the bottom of the blue highrise near Peter St. St., next to the travel agency.

The existing Sauga location is on Lucknow, near Derry and Torbram roads.

As you probably already know, it’s a great breakfast, lunch, or light dinner option, especially after a particularly punishing training session in the weight room.

The restaurant also opened in south Oakville in April 2018 and shows no signs of slowing down.

But back to the bevvies.

The beet juice, with carrot and lemon, is all you need.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d rather eat my calories than drink them but there’s one exception and it’s a real juice made right before my eyes, full of brightly hued fruit and vegetables, poured into a tall glass.

You’ll find hip, trendy items such as Avocado Toast, (we tried the Hummus Toast, topped with alfalfa sprouts — yum).

This independently owned and operated juice bar will not only serve fresh juice, but also smoothies (including bowls), milkshakes, cocktails, salads, wraps, and quick health shots.

Even better news? All menu items are under $15 — so it’s perfect for anyone looking for a healthy, affordable lunch.

Exhibit A: Avocado Toast – served on rye bread – is $2.99.

Exhibit B: Salads and wraps are $5.99.

We dug right into the Maple Apple salad (it’s perfect for a sweltering summer day), with spinach, kale, chopped almonds and walnuts, granny smith apple, feta, and a tangy maple dijon dressing.

Portions aren’t stingy.

As far as beverages go, diners can order some unique blends, including Vitality (pear, green apple, celery, fennel and kale), Mojito (cucumber, lime, pear, mint) and Energizer (apple, carrot, ginger, mint) juices.

Health aficionados can also grab some cheat-meal treats, such as Berry Cheesecake (blueberry, raspberry, strawberry, cream cheese and soy milk) and nutrient-dense items such as Coco Green (mango, banana, spinach, coconut milk and orange) smoothies.

Juice will be freshly squeezed, and the other drinks are also made in-house.

Bubble teas are also available in a variety of flavours.

Cheers to another option for vegans, vegetarians, and others who dabble in the plant-based lifestyle, or simply appreciate a break from greasy fare.
