Brampton foodies, get excited – the city’s premier culinary event is back this October.

This year, Taste of Brampton returns for two full weeks of delicious food and special offerings from October 15 to 29, as well as daily draws with a grand prize of $500 in foodie gift cards to participating Taste of Brampton restaurants!

For those who aren’t in the loop, Taste of Brampton (organized by the Downtown Brampton BIA and local businesses) showcases some of the best restaurants and food in Brampton, serving as an annual celebration of the city’s big and diverse restaurant scene.

So what exactly can you look forward to?

For the two weeks of the event, various Brampton restaurants will be featuring prix-fixe menus and exclusive special offerings that you won’t be able to get anytime else.  What each restaurant has on offer is completely different, so be sure to check out as many as you can!

For example, J.Red & Co is offering several choices of appetizer, entrée, and dessert for $35, while Dolcezza Custom Cakes has a deal for 20% off all online cake orders (with code TASTE2020) or a “buy one get one free” deal on all in-store baked single serve items.

There’s no pass or coupon necessary to participate in this event — simply ask the restaurant for their Taste of Brampton special and enjoy.

Back by popular demand, Taste of Brampton will again feature daily draws where the grand prize winner gets $500 in foodie gift cards to participating restaurants! Starting on September 29, you could win a gift card (each valued between $25 and $100) by following Taste of Brampton on Instagram and tagging a friend on their latest post. These draws will take place every Tuesday and Thursday leading up to October 15.

That’s not the only way to win, however – for every Taste participant you visit during the event, you can snap a pic of your food, upload it to Instagram, and tag/follow @TasteOfBrampton. You’ll then be entered into a draw to win 1 of 24 mystery Taste gift cards valued between $25 and $100! 

If you’ve been keeping up with The Taste over the years, you’ll know it originally started out as “Taste of Downtown Brampton” to help market the restaurants in the Downtown Brampton BIA. Over time, it expanded to restaurants all over the city to highlight Brampton’s position as both a multicultural community and one of the best places in the GTA for food.

Residents interested in driving out to these restaurants are reminded that they can enjoy free parking downtown on evenings and weekends.

The Downtown Brampton BIA is a group that works to promote downtown as a vibrant business and shopping district with a variety of special Brampton events – including, of course, Taste of Brampton.
