The Apple Factory is hosting its first annual Strawberry Festival on Father’s Day weekend on Saturday, June 17, and Sunday, June 18 from 12-4 p.m. both days.

Celebrate dads, strawberries, and summer with a wide selection of family oriented festivities including live music, a supervised bounce castle, children’s face painting, games, crafts, and a catered barbeque, where all proceeds will be donated to the Peel Region Children’s Aid Society.

On Saturday until 2 p.m., local musicians Ablett & Cooper will be performing to accompany the festivities.

The festival promises a delicious selection of strawberry desserts, including cream-filled tarts and classic strawberry shortcake.

The event is free to attend.
