Police are investigating a collision in Brampton.
At 9:41 p.m. on Wednesday (February 3), while responding to an unrelated call, a PRP cruiser was involved in a collision with another vehicle in the area of Chinguacousy Road and Williams Parkway.
As a result of the crash, a pedestrian was hit by the cruiser, and an adult man has been taken to a trauma centre.
The southbound lanes of Chinguacousy are currently closed.
UPDATE: Police say the pedestrian remains at the hospital in non-life-threatening condition.
The Special Investigations Unit has invoked their mandate in this incident and witnesses are requested to contact SIU or Peel Police if they have any information.
