A special weather statement has been issued for this evening (Feb. 20), with freezing rain expected this evening as a low pressure system from the Southern Plains moves towards the Great Lakes.
A high of -1 and a low of -7 is expected this evening, with a high of 2 overnight.

Expect snow around noon, which will change to freezing rain in the evening. This will then change to occasional rain or drizzle near midnight as the temperatures rise above the zero degree mark.
Everyone is encouraged to be wary of travel routes, and watch untreated surfaces as they may become icy and slippery.
