Serious injuries reported after fight involving knife in Brampton

One person has been arrested and another hospitalized following a weapons-related incident this afternoon.

Police were called at 12:42 p.m. for a report of two men fighting at Newhaven Manor and North Park Dr, west of Williams Parkway.

A knife was seen.

The men were located and one was transported to a trauma centre with serious injuries.

The other man was taken into police custody.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
