Due to inclement weather conditions, all school buildings, busing and offices in the Peel District School Board (PDSB) are closed Tuesday (Jan 26) to students and teaching staff.
All DPCDSB schools except St. Andrew, St. Peter and St. Benedict are closed to staff and students Tuesday due to forecasted weather conditions and all students will revert to Remote Learning.
The Peelschools Twitter page confirms that school buildings will remain open to staff including those who require access to technology for remote, synchronous learning.
This closure primarily impacts students with intensive and complex Special Education needs currently attending school face-to-face during the provincial lockdown period based on student learning needs.
Students will be provided asynchronous activities by their educator.
All other elementary and secondary (K-12) students in Peel will continue their learning at home through remote, synchronous instruction, as usual, while schools are closed during the Government of Ontario’s lockdown measures.
All child care programs, including emergency centres, located inside Peel schools will be permitted to remain open.
In-school learning and buses to St. Andrew, St. Benedict and St. Peter will continue Tuesday.
Please check with your child care operator directly for more information.
