A royal wedding calls for a royal affair, and Brampton is getting in on the action!

Almost everyone is talking about the much-anticipated wedding that’s happening on Saturday May 19.

Prince Harry and actress Meghan Markle are getting married, and Brampton has permission to air the wedding on the big screen at Garden Square.

The big event viewing starts at 4 a.m. here, so be sure to bring your lawn chairs and blankets – and maybe a cup of tea – to catch the entire show.

Garden Square is located at the corner of Queen and Main in downtown Brampton.

“Weddings are a wonderful and joyous occasion,” said Mayor Linda Jeffrey in a recent statement.

“I’m pleased that we have secured permission to air the Royal Wedding at Garden Square. We invite everyone to raise a cup of tea and share in this memorable event together. I know that the whole city of Brampton wishes Prince Harry and Ms. Markle the very best as they embark on a new journey together. It’s going to be a special day!”
