While summer festivals and events in Brampton are always exciting, they can cause traffic delays.
This Friday July 20, there are a few events happening in downtown Brampton that are prompting road closures. So, consider this your friendly heads up!

- Due to Festival on George Street South – Jazz (presented by B-Jazzed) & Bhangra (presented by Flower City Bhangra), a road closure will be in effect on George Street South from Wellington Street West to 100 metres north of Wellington Street West on July 20, 2018 at 5:00pm to 11:59pm.
The events that are happening on Friday night are pretty exciting, so ditch your car and check them out if you have some time.
First, there’s the Party in the LANES hosted by the Downtown Brampton BIA.
The event features Latin, Jazz, and Bhangra on George Street South for the entire evening.
You can expect food, dancing, and live entertainment, so bring your appetite and make sure you’re wearing your dancing shoes.
Then, there’s a free concert happening in Garden Square.
The Young & The Reckless will be performing at 8 p.m. They’re a rock band from St. Roch that pays homage to the classics of the 70s/80s/90s.
At 9 p.m., you can enjoy the musical stylings of The Rebelljo Band. They specialize in reggae, top 40 classic rock, funk, and dance music.
