Road closure in effect due to water main break in Brampton

A road closure is currently in effect in Brampton due to a water main break that occurred early Friday morning (Feb 12.)

At around 4:00 a.m., police said a water main break was reported in the westbound lanes on Sandalwood, west of Hurontario.

Police reported the flood was turning into ice.

The City of Brampton and Peel emergency crews have been notified and westbound lanes will be closed for several hours as they address the issue.
