Road closed, one person taken to trauma centre after crash in Brampton

A serious collision has been reported in Brampton this afternoon.

Police say they were called at 2:42 p.m. for a collision at Rutherford Rd South and Stafford Dr.

One person was transported to a trauma centre with unknown injuries.

Rutherford is closed from Clarence St to Glidden Rd until further notice.

Residents are asked to avoid the area and take alternate routes.
