Road closed due to residential fire in Brampton

Firefighters and paramedics are on scene for a residential fire in Brampton this afternoon.

The fire was reported at 1:20 p.m. at a home in the area of Van Kirk Dr and Mayfield Rd near McLaughlin.

No injuries have been reported and the cause of fire is unknown at this time.

Police say road closures are in place until further notice. Residents are asked to use alternate routes.
