Crews are on scene for a fire this afternoon.
Police were called at 2:30 p.m. for a kitchen fire at a residence on Major Oaks Drive in the area of Williams Parkway and Rutherford.
Brampton Fire is on the scene and neighbouring homes are being evacuated.
All occupants are out and the fire is contained to the kitchen area, Brampton Fire reports.

No injuries have been reported at this time.
Residents should avoid the area.
