Reports of an armed man in the area brings lockdown of Brampton child care facility

A child care facility in Brampton is in a hold and secure situation due to sightings of a man with a knife.
Peel Regional Police say a call came in around 3:30 p.m. today (Nov. 23), that a man in the Apple Valley Way and Castle Oaks area was seen walking around with the knife.
The child care centre is currently shut down as a precaution.
Police are expected to provide an update as the investigation continues.
