Great news, bubble tea lovers!

A major bubble tea chain has finally made its way to Brampton, opening its 23 location in Ontario among over 1,000 locations around the world.

Chatime Brampton officially opened its doors to the public at 150 West Dr., unit 1A, on Tuesday May 1 at 1 p.m.

The new location boasts Chatime’s signature, fully customizable bubble tea selection, sweet treats from Chatime’s sister brand Bake Code in Toronto, and a spacious cafe seating area.

At Chatime you can choose from a range of different drinks, , from signature milk teas like hazlenut or honey milk, to special mix teas like wintermelon or peach green, to fresh teas or teaspressos, smoothies and slushes, and even different kinds of juice and coffee.

And you can choose what kinds of toppings you want, how much ice you want, and even how sweet you’d like your drink – even if you want to double the sugar!

As for toppings, you can add pearls, grass jelly, coconut jelly, red bean, aloe vera, coffee jelly, rainbow jelly, or even pudding into your bubble tea.

The treats from Bake Code include a decadent and layered red velvet cake, macarons in bubble tea flavours (like matcha or roasted milk tea), and even cheese tarts.

According to marketing manager Christina Li, Chatime has had its eyes on Brampton for a long time.

Chatime was seeking a spacious and prime location in Brampton, says Li.

The large, cafe-style seating area is a huge draw for anyone who wants to kick back with a hot or cold tea, and it’s open just in time for summer!
