Peel Regional Police (PRP) is investigating a hit-and-run that occurred in Brampton.
At 5:04 p.m. tonight (December 29), PRP was called to the area of Queen Street West and George Street South in relation to a pedestrian who was hit by a car.
The victim, an adult woman, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and is being treated by first responders.
Road closures are in effect in the area, and drivers are instructed to find alternate routes.
