Preperations are currently underway to fight a lawsuit filed against Brampton mayor Patrick Brown and Optimum Publishing International.
The lawsuit is in relation to Brown’s book, Takedown: The Attempted Political Assassination of Patrick Brown, published in November 2018.
In the book, Brown recounts his experience with sexual misconduct allegations and alleges that similar complaints have been made against Ontario’s Finance Minister, Vic Fedeli.
Following the book’s publication, Fedeli has accused Brown of libel and later filed an $8 million lawsuit against the Brampton mayor.
