Power Outage Affecting Over 4,000 Brampton Homes and Businesses

There is currently a power outage in Brampton.

There is currently a power outage in Brampton.

The power outage has left 4112 homes and businesses without power from McLaughlin Road North to Highway 410 and Bovaird Drive East to Vodden Street East.

The power outage has also affected traffic lights at many intersections. Those intersections are Main Street North and Gillingham Drive, a large portion of Williams Parkway, Hurontario and Bovaird Drive.

Police are advising all drivers to treat these as a four way stop.

A hydro crew has been dispatched to fix the issue. The estimated time the power will be back is 4:30 p.m.
