A popular Jamaican restaurant closed its doors in Toronto over a year ago. Recently, they opened back up at Bramalea City Centre.

The Jerk Joint is a takeout stand that offers many Jamaican dishes as well as other fusion items. The restaurant is 100 per cent halal and boasts some of the best chickens you’ll ever taste. The joint offers a variety of chicken styles such as smoked chicken, jerk chicken, fried chicken and BBQ chicken.

Located on the upper level by the north food court, the new Bramalea location offers the same great chicken and other amazing dishes.

For those of you who have not been to their original Toronto location, the joint has patties, soups, roti, wraps, burgers and wings. They also have main meals, which includes your choice of chicken served with rice and your choice of side.

However, the joint does not forget about the vegetarians. They also offer a vegetarian plate with rice and your choice of side. They also have vegetarian roti and veggie wraps.

If you are looking for a place to grab a quick drink, the joint also features many Jamaican soft drinks such as Ting and other tropical drinks.

Their Bramalea City Centre location is considered their “express” location and may not have all of the food items available on their original Toronto menu.
