Police have stopped a school bus driver in Brampton for allegedly using a cell phone while driving.

Shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 5, Peel police announced that a constable stopped a distracted school bus driver who was allegedly using a cell phone while waiting at a red light.

The incident took place in the Sandalwood Parkway and Airport Rd. area.
Police say no children were inside the bus at the time of the reported incident.
Police are reminding drivers to avoid all distractions while driving.
