Police Still Searching For Man Wanted for Murder in Brampton

While many offenders face jail time for very serious offences in Brampton (and Peel in general), some manage to elude police and those people wind up on Peel Police’s fugitive list.

As of now, police are still looking for Henry Stanley Morales, an El Salvador-born former Brampton resident who is wanted for murder.

According to police, the now 41-year-old Morales became involved in a domestic dispute with Malena Morales, his wife of 12 years, on July 13, 2006. The incident occurred at their Brampton apartment on Steeles Ave. W. and took place in the master bedroom while the couple’s two children were home.

During the dispute, Morales beat and choked his wife.

She succumbed to the injuries sustained during the attack.

After the incident, the accused fled the country and went to Mexico. A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Morales is described as a South American male who is about 5’7” and 174 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and a medium build.

He may have visited Ecuador, Guatemala, México, Panamá, El Salvador and the southern U.S. (namely Texas).
