Police seeking public’s assistance in identifying suspects connected to theft in Brampton

Peel Regional Police (PRP) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating several suspects in connection to a theft in Brampton.

On September 24, the victim–a man from Caledon–visited a money lending company in the area of Airport Road and Slough Street in Mississauga, where he obtained an undisclosed quantity of cash. He then left without incident.

Later that day, while at a restaurant in the area of Kennedy Road and Dean Street in Brampton, two suspects broke into his car and stole the bag containing the money.

The victim saw the theft occur, and attempted to chase after the suspects, but he was unsuccessful.

The first suspect is described as a man of Sout Asian descent; he’s approximately 5’9″ tall; with a medium build; and short, black hair. He was wearing a navy blue Boston Red Sox baseball cap; a blue medical mask; a grey, hoodless Calvin Klein sweatshirt; black pants; and black and white shoes–he fled the scene on foot.

The second suspect is described as a man of South Asian descent, he’s approximately 5’7” tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a black Adidas baseball cap; a black-and-white, long-sleeve plaid shirt; black pants; black gloves; and black-and-white shoes–he fled the scene in a dark grey Mazda 3.
