Police Searching for Man Wanted in Connection with Stabbing Incident in Brampton

Police have issued an arrest warrant for a potentially armed and dangerous man who is allegedly responsible for a stabbing incident that recently occurred in Brampton.

Peel police report that on Saturday, Sept. 23 at approximately 4:00 a.m., the victim and suspect became involved in a dispute at a coffee shop in the Biscayne Crescent and First Gulf Blvd. area.

Police say an altercation ensued before the men ultimately parted ways. Shortly afterwards, however, the suspect reportedly stabbed the victim before fleeing the area.

The victim was transported to local hospital for treatment.

A warrant of arrest for aggravated assault has been issued for 38-year-old Jeffrey Sibley. He is described as a white 5’11” male who weighs 152 pounds and has a thin build. Police say he is to be considered armed and dangerous.
