A neighbourhood near Downtown Brampton has been the target of thieves breaking into cars.

Peel Regional Police say throughout November they have been responding to numerous reports of vehicles being broken into in the residential areas between Steeles Ave. to Clarence St. and Main St. to Kennedy Rd.

The incidents are taking place usually between the hours of 2 a.m. to 6 a.m.

Police suggest vehicle owners to:
• Lock your vehicle
• Park in the garage if possible
• Do NOT leave any valuables in your vehicle
• Never leave your keys in an unoccupied vehicle
• Consider a camera or motion sensors

Also, police say if you support suspicious activity in your neighbourhood to give them a call at 905-453-3311.
