Police Looking for Witnesses After Shooting in Brampton

Police are appealing to witnesses in connection with a shooting incident and minor collision that occurred in Brampton.

On Saturday, April 8 at approximately 7:45 p.m., Peel police were called to a minor two-car crash in the Steeles Ave. and Torbram area. When police arrived, officers located two victims with apparent gunshot wounds. Police also said that the vehicle that was subsequently involved in the collision showed gunshot damage.

The victims were transported to local hospital and one victim’s injuries were upgraded upon arrival.

He was transported to a trauma center in Toronto.

According to police, both victims are suffering from non-life threatening injuries.

Police say investigation has revealed that a shooting incident took place prior to the collision in the area of Airport Road and Steeles Ave. At this time, there are no suspect descriptions available.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident in the area of Airport Road and Steeles Ave, or any drivers with dash-cam video who may have been in the area during the incident, to please come forward.
