A robbery has just occurred in Brampton and police are searching for a suspect.

Shortly after 9:00 p.m., Peel police reported that a robbery occurred in the Steeles Ave and Mclaughlin Road area.

According to police, the victim was robbed at knife point and the suspect fled on foot.

The suspect has been described as a 6′ black male wearing a black hoodie with a balaclava covering his face.

According to the Peel Police he was observed running eastbound with a long bread knife.

Tactical and K9 are out tracking, so try to avoid the area.

Anyone who sees the suspect is asked to call 911.
