Police issue arrest warrant for 18-year-old in connection to shooting in Brampton

Peel Regional Police (PRP) has issued an arrest warrant in connection to a shooting that occurred in Brampton in Early March.

On March 5, PRP responded to a shooting that occurred in a Brampton transit bus in the area of Dixie Road and Howden Boulevard. Upon arrival, PRP discovered a 60-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a trauma centre with non-life-threatening injuries.
After a thorough investigation, PRP has determined the suspect they believe responsible for the shooting is 18-year-old Daniel Larizza of Brampton.
Today, PRP issued an arrest warrant for Larizza; PRP is urging anyone who encounters Larizza not to approach him and call 9-1-1 immediately, as he is believed to be armed and dangerous.
