Police investigating robbery of a restaurant in Brampton

Peel Regional Police (PRP) is investigating a robbery in Brampton.

At 9:53 p.m. on Thursay (January 7), PRP was called to the area of Bovaird Drive and Chinguacousy Road in relation to a robbery of a restaurant.

According to PRP, the suspect brandished a weapon and then fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

There is no description of the suspect at this time.

Fortunately, no one was injured during the altercation.
