Police investigating New Year’s Eve murder in Brampton

Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are investigating the death of a 17-year-old youth that occurred on December 31, 2019, in Brampton.

Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are investigating the death of a 17-year-old youth that occurred on December 31, 2019, in Brampton.

At 11:58 p.m., emergency services responded to Alderbury Crescent in Brampton in regards to a shooting.

Police say that upon arrival, the victim was located suffering from life-threatening injuries as a result of gunshot wounds.

Despite the best efforts made by first responders, the victim died at the scene.

The victim has been identified as 17-year-old Jordan Henry, a Brampton resident.

Investigators are working to identify and locate the suspect(s) responsible for this incident.
