Police investigating fatal house fire in Brampton

Police received a call at 12:35 am in regard to a house fire in Brampton.

Police say the fire occurred on Cornwall Heights and Nanwood Drive.

According to police, the house was fully engulfed when they arrived.

An adult female was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced deceased, according to police.

No other injuries have been reported and the investigation is ongoing.
