A police investigation is underway this morning.
Police say they were called at 9:51 a.m. after the remains of a dead body were found at Tomken and Wilkinson Road near Steeles Ave East.

The circumstances of death are unknown at this time.

Officers from 21 Division’s Criminal Investigation Bureau are on scene investigating.
Residents should avoid the area until further notice.
UPDATE: The circumstances surrounding the man’s death have been deemed non-suspicious, police say.
