Police received a call at 8:48 am in regard to a report of a possible stabbing in Brampton.
Police say it occurred in the area of Kings Cross Road and Clark Boulevard.

UPDATE: Police say that a male adult is being transported to a local hospital and the status of injuries is unknown. According to police, an altercation occurred between multiple parties and there is a heavy police presence in the area. The investigation is continuing.
UPDATE #2: Police say the victim is in serious but non-life-threatening condition at this time. According to police, officers have a female adult in custody. Police say multiple suspects are still outstanding and the investigation is continuing.
