Paramedics and emergency services are on scene for a house fire this afternoon in Brampton.
Police got a call at 11:45 a.m. regarding a fire that broke out at a residence on Wellpark Way, west of Castle Oaks Crossing at Highway 50.
The house was evacuated. One person was transported to Brampton Civic Hospital with minor injuries.
The fire is under control, Brampton FES reports. Crews are currently working to minimize damage to the house.

There is no word yet on the cause of the fire.
